the Studio: facilities
The Studio workshop is a large (20m x 5m) and light space. With work stations for up to 16 students, a specially designed teachers work station and unlimited parking, the Studio has all the facilities needed.
The Studio has sewing machines, sewing equipment, an embellishing machine, design materials all available for you to use.
All the work stations have a table, ironing board, iron, double socket and a comfortable chair. The teacher’s work station has a double table, extra worktop, soft board display area, 3 double sockets, a projection wall, (Digital projector available for hire), ironing board and iron.
Disabled access: the Studio is fully accessible for those in wheelchairs.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and biscuits are always available.
Of course our members, regular students and visitors will be taking advantage of what’s on offer, but the Studio is also available for groups to hire. A class, a retreat or an away evening or day, please do get in touch for details.
